This guidance has been developed to aid employers in onboarding Ukrainian nationals where the current situation in the country means that onboarding and compliance standards are impractical. This guidance outlines alternative ways to achieve onboarding compliance for Ukrainian nationals. This document is not an exhaustive list of requirements as many checks remain unaffected and should still be completed in addition to those within this document. 

The overwhelming feedback from employers is that educational institutions, criminal record agency(ies), and employers based in Ukraine are not able to fulfil vetting requests, hence this document is designed to offer alternatives to current requirements for employers and agencies working with Ukrainian nationals only.
