Approximately 20% of the population is neurodivergent, yet over one in five neurodivergent individuals remain unemployed - amounting to millions. Evidence shows that neurodivergent workers are hugely underrepresented, misunderstood and seemingly overwhelmed in our workplaces having a significant impact on the workers themselves, and the organisations that employ them.

The Better Hiring Institute, its collaborators and employer network, have come together to highlight the challenges and barriers neurodiverse people face in the workplace, and provide recommendations for industry and UK Government to overcome and challenge these.

The guidance brings together leading UK experts and UK government, working in collaboration with Reed Screening, the Association of Accessible Employers, BBC CAPE, and Acas, amongst wider endorsement from various parliamentarians.
