Breaking down hiring barriers to ensure equal opportunities for women in the workplace
In 2024 the World Economic Forum announced it would take another 131 years for women to reach parity with men. This cannot be acceptable in 2025. There is no good reason why women should not be afforded the same opportunities, the same fair treatment, at the same fair pay as men.
The Better Hiring Institute, its collaborators and employer network, have come together across two Parliamentary sessions to spotlight the structural barriers and the steps which we need to take as a country to truly bring about parity for women in the workplace.
The guidance brings together leading UK experts and UK government, working in collaboration with Reed Screening, Can’t Buy My Silence, Paragon Banking Group, and Mandy Hickson, amongst wider endorsement from various parliamentarians including Mims Davies MP, Caroline Nokes MP and Dame Maria Miller.
