Academic Advisory Board

The Academic Advisory Board (AAB) consists of leading academics in the field of hiring and employment to directly influence and impact UK policy and practice.
An example of this work is AI in Hiring, a first-of-its kind best practice for UK firms developed by industry and a leading academic which directly influenced the Private Members' Bill on AI Regulation.

Furthermore, it was downloaded by thousands of UK organisations. This is the kind of impact the Institute and the AAB are committed to delivering.

Purpose:  To advise the Institute on its policy work and to bring about change in UK hiring and employment through influencing policy change and impacting hiring and employment practice.

In particular to:

  2. Advertise the academic’s specialist areas of interest to business toconnect businesses with academics.
  3. Collaborate on specific policy areas such as speaking in Parliament, providing research, co-badging and co-authoring reports, best practice guides, and whitepapers.
  4. Create scenarios where business and academics could work together to create real-world impact and/or opportunities to collaborate on funding.
  5. Working with the Better Hiring Institute, academics and academic institutions will     have the opportunity to
