AI has already arrived in the UK. Our task is to work out how best to harness its potential to drive innovation, business, and the economy, whilst at the same time ensuring better lives for our citizens.

Last year we worked with Lord Holmes and industry to produce the UK’s first ever guide on the use of AI in Hiring. Since then, we have worked with industry and government to develop the thinking about the future use of AI in hiring and recruitment. Our work featured in the AI Regulation report in the House of Lords authored by Lord Holmes and helped support the Private Member’s Bill on AI Regulation.

This guidance in collaboration with Reed Screening, Arctic Shores, Lancaster University, Tesco, and the TUC spotlights the use of AI at work, and one of the best current use cases in the UK for all that is good, and for all that is less good about AI, is in the hiring process.

Our latest guidance builds on last years guidance which we worked in collaboration with Reed Screening, Future Work, Arctic Shores, the TUC, and Lancaster University on, and will pave the way for organisations to harness AI for years to come.
