Ensuring Fairness in UK Hiring for the International Talent Pool

In November 2023, the Modernising Employment All-Party Parliamentary Group held a session on Ensuring Fairness in UK Hiring for the International Talent Pool chaired by Lord Lucas with almost 100 employers in attendance. The session heard from employers, lawyers, academics, and included the voice of lived experience on how we securely make the best use of available workers already in the UK to fill vacancies and drive economic growth. The safe and compliant use of international talent is crucial to supporting and growing the UK economy.
